Soundlinx Product Finder

Integrated Technologies Ltd's Soundlinx brand supply a large range of interfaces for fitting CD, MD, Cellular, Multimedia, Satnav and Head Up displays into cars world wide. To enable staff to quickly answer queries, the Product Finder intranet application allows them to search the Soundlinx stock by entering criteria into standardised forms. They can then access photographs,  technical details, instruction manuals and pricing information from the result set returned.

The new Soundlinx website allows members of the public to search the product database, and allows Integrated Technologies' dealer base to access technical information online. A postcode based dealer locator feature lets visitors find out about Soundlinx dealers based on their postcode area, including links to location maps.

To enable customers to quickly locate products, the site has a website search function that searches product descriptions for keywords and returns a list of results showing the closest matches first. By using a customised indexing engine, results are returned in fractions of a second, even though the index holds over fifteen hundred pages of products.
