Ski Transfers

The project for Ski Transfers involved a Website re-design and online booking system. Ski Transfers are an airport transfer company providing transfers from Geneva Airport, Chambery Airport, Lyon Airport and Grenoble Airport to the French Alps, with destinations including Avoriaz, Morzine, Les Gets, Samoens, Méribel, Chamonix, Les Deux Alpes, and Tignes.

The new 2007 website is content managed using our clic2edit CMS and includes a custom QuickQuote panel that allows visitors to enter their chosen airport, resort, journey type and the number of passengers and get price for the transfer on line. The QuickQuote panel also links through to the online booking system.

The booking system allows customers to book their transfer securely online, paying by credit card. Data is transferred directly into the Transfer Management system running in the Ski Transfers offices so no re-keying of data is required. The credit card information is encrypted at all stages and is held on the Transfer Management system in eencryptedform so that it is only available to authorised staff members.

There is also a partner log in screen to allow partner companies such as hotels and holiday operators to book their airport transfers into their own accounts.

The Transfer Management system includes booking tracking, vehicle allocation and account management functions including the printing of invoices and statements, bus transfer sheets and the sending of confirmation emails etc.

The Ski Transfers website and Transfer Management system developed by Piers Taylor Ltd provides the core operating service that enables Ski Transfers to run their highly successful Airport Transfer operation.
